Delivery, Refunds & Returns

Delivery, Returns & Refunds Policy

Tony Reed Photography

Last updated: 7 November 2026

Thank you for purchasing from Tony Reed Photography. I take great care in producing, checking and packaging my photographic prints, and I want you to be delighted with your purchase.

This policy explains how orders are prepared, delivered and collected, and what to do if you need to cancel or return an item.

1. Print Production

Standard A4 and A3 Prints

My standard A4 and A3 photographic prints are personally produced and quality-checked by me before dispatch.

Specialist and Non-Standard Prints

Larger or specialist print orders may be produced by a professional photographic printing laboratory. These prints are normally delivered to me for inspection before being sent to you.

Archive Prints

Archive prints are existing stock, available in limited quantities. Once sold, individual prints may not be available again in the same presentation or format.

2. Delivery

Every photographic print is carefully produced, quality-checked and packaged to help ensure it reaches you in excellent condition.

Standard A4 and A3 Prints

Orders are normally prepared and dispatched within 3–5 working days of purchase.

Larger and Specialist Prints

Prints produced by my professional printing laboratory normally require 7–14 working days for production, quality checking and dispatch.

These are estimated dispatch times rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Delivery time will depend on the postal or courier service selected.

Archive Prints

Existing prints held in stock are normally dispatched within 3–5 working days.

Delivery charges will be displayed at checkout before payment.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details where available.

Unless otherwise agreed, your order will be delivered within 30 days of purchase.3. Collection

Local collection is available by prior arrangement.

When your order is ready, I'll contact you by email to arrange a mutually convenient collection date and time.

Please do not travel to the collection address until your appointment has been confirmed.

There is no delivery charge for orders collected in person.

4. Cancelling an Order

For most online purchases, you have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.

You may notify me of your decision to cancel at any time from placing your order until 14 days after receiving your goods.

To cancel, email:

tony@tonyreedphotography.com

Please include your name and order number.

Once you've notified me, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

These cancellation rights generally apply to both Archive Prints and standard A4/A3 prints produced after ordering.

5. Returns and Refunds

If you change your mind about a purchase, please contact me within the cancellation period.

For change-of-mind returns:

  • Items should be carefully packaged to protect them during transit.

  • You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

  • I recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage.

  • You may inspect your print as you would in a shop. Any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary may be reflected in the refund, where permitted by law.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, I will refund the purchase price and the original standard delivery charge, where applicable.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

6. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders

I take care to check every print before dispatch, but occasionally problems can occur during delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or is not as described, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible.

Where practical, including photographs of the problem will help me investigate it quickly.

I'll work with you to arrange an appropriate replacement, repair or refund in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Where goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied, I will cover reasonable return costs where applicable.

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Bespoke and Personalised Orders

Occasionally, I may accept commissions involving genuinely personalised artwork or prints produced to individual specifications outside my standard product range.

Certain bespoke or personalised orders may be exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

Where such an exemption applies, this will be explained clearly before you place your order.

The fact that a standard print is produced after purchase does not, by itself, remove your statutory cancellation rights.

Your rights relating to faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods remain unaffected.

8. Photography Tuition

Photography tuition bookings are subject to a separate Photography Tuition Booking Terms & Conditions policy.

Please refer to that policy for information about tuition cancellations, rescheduling and weather-related changes.
